I am writing to file a formal complaint against Jessica Baranek 520-258-0791 of GEICO who was my claims examiner and a commendation for Mariusz Ostrogorsk 520-730-1872 who was my damage adjuster. I was very dissatisfied by Jessica service. She was rude, pushy and inconsiderate. I asked her several time to communicate by phone only for urgent matters else use e mail yet she repeatedly disturbed me at work by calling on my cell for nonurgent matters. In contrast Mariusz respected my requests and communicated by e mail as requested. The accident was on 1-9-15; Jessica did not initiate contact till around 1-29-15 [claim handled by others in GEICO until then] and then insisted on conducting recorded phone interview within a few days even though I had already provided GEICO with a recorded deposition earlier. This had to be during my regular work hours which caused me great inconvenience and financial loss since I only get paid for the hours I work. Even worse, after the interview she said I was at least partly at fault even though the insurance company for the opposite party accepted full 100% responsibility and the police report given to GEICO clearly showed her to be incorrect. I waited this long to file this formal complaint as I wanted settlement from opposite insurance company completed for fear of retaliation by Jessica.

In contrast, Mariusz was always fair, considerate and helpful in a time that was very stressful for me since the other party was 100% at fault but I was injured in car accident. He was cooperative in accommodating my needs to the extent feasible. While the estimate he provided was not generous, it was reasonably fair. That is far more than can be said for Jessica.
